On install, Cardvoyant takes a read-only seat against your storefront — Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, or a custom API — and ingests the live catalog: SKUs, current prices, copy, media, sell-through history. Nothing writes until you sign off.
From there it stays in sync. New SKUs appear on the storefront and inside Cardvoyant in the same breath. Sold-out variants get flagged against your configured sources of comps. Copy edits you approve upstream flow back into the catalog co-worker's working set, so the next pass never acts on stale text.
It also reconciles against your comp sources — TCGPlayer, eBay active listings, Ludex, your own graded comps — so the catalog Cardvoyant is reasoning about is the catalog your shop is competing with, not a six-hour-old snapshot. Every ingestion step is logged and reversible from the audit trail.
